yep KU can fluxuate from 0 to 90 signal quality just by putting a little pressure on the dish....now you would need a LOT of pressure to move a C-Band dish

Well, it looks like the alignment was the problem. He got his signal back after finding out one of his kids hit the lnb mount with a football and seemed to have knocked it out of alignment slightly. Don't know, but he says its working again and if 1/4 inch can make that big a difference, I can see how a solid hit from a football could cause it.
