I found a dvd recorder at radioshack. It says something about css protection. How much of fta has this?

That some cable or satellite programs have copyright protection. I recorded Charlie Chat On A newer vcr and It had yellow lines through the picture.
It is a Vcr-Dvd Recorder and it can tape on vhs and also dvd and it's only 70 bucks!!!

I have 2 DVD records..no copyright protection on it and I've recorded about 300 DVD's since I got them
CSS copy protection is a digital hard code to allow recording or not. Macrovision with colorstripeing is what most satellite boxes use including Dish , Direct and 4DTV. Those who say they never seen macrovision enabled on the 4DTV thats false. I seen it used on PPV on HITS while ITC. Shocked me at first.
PLEASE LOG IN TO GET RID OF THESE ADS!
