Good deal. Nice dish. He even pulled the pole. A real no brainer. ;)

But maybe consider setting your sights a little higher.
Maybe 8.5 feet (Birdview), or a 10'er.
See what life is like with an H-H in C band.

I've always regretted getting two identical things in the past:
- 133 MHz pentium computers
- 300 MHz Celeron computers
- 1700 MHz AMD computers
- 4 ea 300gb hard drives for my server (now sporting 2 2tb drives) ;)
- 19" LCD monitors
- 22" LCD monitors a few years later

The only thing missing on your list for me is the long list of satellite receivers

That 6'er in NY is a fixed Prodelin 2-way, with a heater for snow country.
Yes, go snag it for $20, and get crazy!
Plenty of members have 'em here on the forum, so tons of support.
(just read - it's all written down)

score!

Wow! Two winners.

That Winegard 10'er is already disassembled!
a cash-n-carry kit
someone go grab that bargain-beauty - it looks new!

As for the 8' solid, that's a ChannelMaster / Andrew.
Just ask ACradio , he's got a fleet of those commercial dishes.
Many other members have them, and there are great stories on the forum detailing how to refurbish them
Don't let this one become another damned gazebo cover nor a fish pond!

One on bottom may be a 36" Dish.

opinion:

The $300 10' above in California, looks to be a Paraclipse.
I'm no expert on them, so maybe an owner will chime in.

Someone willing to spend $300-500 on a new mesh might want to consider it.
Aren't these actually perforated panel dishes?
If so, and this dish is in good condition, it would be my preference.

If it's actually some random mesh, I would say $100 would be my limit.

As for the $100 10' Winegard (disassembled) with the H-H, OMG!
Somebody jump on that right now! ;)
It's a perf, too.

The hidden one on the bottom right looks to be a Primestar.
I can't tell size nor if it might be a desirable 84e.
Even so, it'll perform best with original feedhorn .
On second thought, it IS an elliptical dish, not round, based on feed holder.
All the rest look like 20" DSB dishes (useless).
Still, worth a trip if you're in the area! ;)
Make sure he has feed (and maybe LNB ) for 84e.
i'm cheap, but would go $25 for 84e & feed & mount, in decent shape.
