There used to be a section for PC DVB board users here. But they cleaned house and did away with it. Iit seems that part of FTA was mostly hacker driven and interest in them has gone away. It's very hard to get decent info regarding the use of these tuners and the software without going to hacker sites. Even companies like Hauppauge don't want anything to do with DVB-S support in the US and won't sell their satellite products here. I see DVBWorld makes "Insert your name here" tuners. Buying one in the US could be a real adventure 
. Asside from the 3/5 FEC thing I have MyTheatre working perfectly right now. Better than any STB I've seen, but that hasn't been a lot.
