I have found that the sure way to go is to call sales and then ask to be transferred to retention rep. I get the "I can do everything they can do" and then I'm transferred to get a deal that has, thusfar, been better.

Yup. That number slacker linked to went out of service during the HD Tivo promo awhile back.
