D11-100 picture quality

Anyone noticed how poor the picture quality is on the guide and menus on the D11-100 compared to the other D10 or D11 receivers?? Even with the contrast all the way up on the TV, its still very dim and just not clear compared to any of the other receivers Ive used (D10-200, D10-300, D11-500). Its almost like its connected through coax cable instead of S-Video..

have you tried plugging in just composite cables to see how it looks.. maybe the S-video doesnt work well with your tv?

I've had several other D10s and D11s hooked up to the same TV with S-Video and the picture quality is 100% better than the D11-100. Ive had 2 D11-100s hooked up so I know it wasnt just that receiver.
