Just installed a BEV model 3120, myself.
Single LNB, 91deg. I used the old CableTV Coax on the side of the house with ground clamp and 1 male to male coupler.
I used the RCA plugs to go from the box to the monitor.
I have 91% signal strength on transponder 11
My signal strength varies on the other transponders from 73% - 90%.

I have picture but my oranges are screaming dayglow and the reds are almost as bad. The brightness seems very low and contrast is slightly washed.
I reset my TV video settings.
I am used to a very clear signal from my now defunct greymarket satellite.
I suspect the old coax?
Any advice? - before I have to give it back.
Thanks DIG

Try this, with your grey market box put power to it and hook it up, even with it not connected to a dish and check for text like options from that box, if that is clear then it is the coax or a connector on the line. Did it pass a check switch fully.

Check switch?

Thanks for the advice, I will put the DTV reciever on see what happens. I had cable on the the TV 2 days ago and the colors were fine.
I don't know what the check switch is?

It might be the coax satellite uses a different center wire a heavier wire . make sure it is an RG6 wire not RG59 its too small and u get a weak signal
