DDR3 Memory Question

OK, I have been a little out of the loop on desktop and laptop memory and am a little confused on the DDR3 specs.

CL 8-8-8-27 Micro Center - 2GB DDR3-1066 (PC3-8500) SO-DIMM

CL 7-7-7-20 OCZ Technology | Products | Memory | OCZ PC3-8500 DDR3 Mac SODIMM

I am assuming that the 7-7-7-20 is faster memory as the CL is lower but just wanted to make sure that I am thinking in the right direction.

Could be, but all that numbers (delays) affect speed of the memory.

We've certainly come a long way in packaging, from the IC devices we used to mount or solder. I really like the solidity of these DDR3 modules.
