I have an HR24, H24, HR20-100 and an HR20-700. All are connected via a private network and Ethernet. HR24 and H24 have the DECA built in. If I were to get only one DECA for the connection to my router, will the built-in DECA units be able to see the Ethernet wired units (legacy HR20's)?
I have one scenario where I put my H24 on the deck and its got no direct Ethernet wire. I can get DECA for the HR20's but that would cost me an additional $90+. I was trying to keep the cost to 1 DECA unit, 1 power plug and 1 splitter.
My thinking is the all the units should see each other since the DECA unit going out to the internet sees the gateway. The HR20's traffic would go through the router to the DECA unit to get to the HR24/H24.
BTW, I have SWM already installed.
