Did U521 fix the OTA recording issue when using a H3 and a Joey 3 ?

Last Friday I tried to record NBC & ABC at the same time. Both failed to record. I have a new outdoor antenna & signal is 100 on all Chicago channels. I'm only 22 miles from the transmitters. I have the same reciever's as you.

I tested the following using my Hopper3 and Joey2 with the single OTA tuner.
1) Watching OTA on the Hopper3 had no problems.
2) Recording OTA on my Hopper3 had no problems.
3) Watching OTA on my Joey2 had pixelation problems. The breakups on the Joey2 stopped if I joined the OTA program on the Hopper3.

I just pull the plug on the hopper to resolve the problem. This only happens every few days only with the Joey 3. Rebooting the Joey won't fix the pixelation.

No, but if PTAT was scheduled to record them, then that could have caused the OTA timers to be skipped.

I do not subscribe to the OTA channels provided by Dish. So PTAT can't be used.

PTAT should work if you are getting your locals via OTA as well.
