Guys,
I have cable service from Charter and I am looking for another Digital Box to use in another room. Is there anything specific about these converter boxes that I should be aware of before I buy one? I almost bought a COMCAST HD-DVR Receiver recently not knowing that they have vendor specific code embedded in the firmaware and they don't work with Charter Service. I sure don't want to buy a box that will not work with Charter Digital.
The Digital box that I have doesn't have any Card or anything.
You help is very much needed here.
