Digital channels, are they HD?

The difference is not necessarily one of resolution. There is no analog HD but both digital and analog can be SD.

You're still misunderstanding things. HD is digital. You presumably mean digital SD though and you're correct, it does not compare to digital HD.

So when the 722 scans for digital it gets a digital channel, and if they are showing HD then you would see it, but if its showing in SD it it still considered digital?Sorry for the questions, love technology, but sometimes get twisted and confuse myself.

Yes you are correct. Digital and analog are 2 different methods to transmit a signal to the receiver. However a digital signal is capable of transmitting a number of different resolutions such as SD, ED, and HD
