Hope this is a basic question as I am new to forum.....just what does the F1 indicate in the Dir TV AU2-F1. I called Dir TV and they had no idea and suggested I search antennaweb.org (also no help). tks

That's the model number for the triple LNB assembly used on the old Phase III multisat dish.
Used to receive the 101, 110, and 119 satellites. I don't think the F1 part means anything special.

See DIRECTV Triple-Feed Multi-Satellite LNB LNBF Phase III 3 Feed WNC HDTV Multi Satellite 1820 Dish Antenna AU2-F1 LNB with Integrated Multiswitch, DIRECTV Replacement LNB, 101-110-119, Part # WNC AU2F1: Oak Entertainment Centers and Home Office Furnitu

BTW, I found that out by doing a quick search on Google. :D

I hope you guys didn't scare the OP away! :)

tks to jdspenser....I guess the "OP" is me, not sure what that means either and the "yorktown queen" did not offend me. Appreciate your help and direction to the Google find.

I'm the "yorktown queen" for trying to teach you how to spell?

No, for being too pedantic. You could have been more judicious. It was his first post here. We don't want to scare off new people. We were all new at some time. After all, how long have you been here? Let's play nice, okay? :)
