Directtv 3D compatible TV's

What 3D format does the DirectTv receiver output? My TV is not listed as compatible, but I fint that hard to believe.

Ok. Side by side. I need to check if my TV does that, but i think that was one of the formats it could convert. I cant wait to watch the Olympics in 3D! I am bummed i am missing Wimbledon in 3D.

Try it on ESPN 3D or 3Net and see what you get, what set do you have?

My Samsung model isn't listed yet it still works perfectly in 3d. It has 3 settings, side by side, top and bottom, 2d-3d and the setting that works for me is the side by side 3d setting.

yeah I dont know how often they update their stuff.

Edited: My projector and my brothers arent on there and they work fine for Directv 3d...just to let you know. I dont think Directv visits their lists that often.

I noticed that as well. Most of the TVs listed were a few years old.

My tv automatically switches to 3d. I have an lg passive 3dtv .....

Yes, my TV worked fine. The format is Side-by-Side.
