There are spectrums for 103(a) and 103(b) at Pacific Coast.

My guess (and its only a guess) is that the spectrum analyzer is indicating that there is usable signal(s) there, but that our end user systems have not yet been told (via update keys in the stream) to allow us to see anything.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I have a problem or not. On 103(b), I'm getting an 88 on the even transponders (96 on T16), but a 0 on all odd transponders. I get 0 on the odd transponders on 110 and 119 also, but all the current HD channels come in fine (evens are in the high 90s). High 90s for all transponders on 101 (odd and even).

My location is northern Alabama.

You have a big problem.

You need to identify which channels (if any, not including any "new" HD channels) that you're not getting and notify DIRECTV immediately.

As testing is going on, are the transponders going on & off? I checked signal strenght last night and was getting nothing. I'll check again tonight.

I am in the Richmond, VA area, have a 5 lnb slimline and 2 H20 receivers.

I get a high 80's - low 90's signal on the 3 existing sats.

Has anyone looked at the transponders with BOTH tuners?

Just for !#$% and giggles I am looking at the signal meters on both tuners and one tuner is reading much higher numbers than the other. Could it be a bad 'B' band converter?...

Anyone,

Anyone,

Bueller?????

I've got the same problem. I've got one HR20 that shows 0s on the first three and mid to low signals. My other HR20 show high 90s on all transponders on one tuner and 0s on the other. I think I've got several bad B band converters.

sure it could, simply swap the converters to confirm, if the problem does not follow the converter, then swap the cable into the converter

Different SS on different tuners... One possible solution

Well, I pulled my rat's nest apart and found an old inline diplexer from the OTA days. Took that out of the loop and 'voila. (Don't hate me, I didn't take french!) Everything is hitting between 80 and 96 on 103(b) on both tuners.

If you are seeing different SS readings on different tuners and you used to have an OTA setup, you may want to hunt around for old diplexers. It worked for me!:D

Ok here is what I have as of now (8:30PM ET) in Central Connecticut
