I had it happening Friday night as well. Clear skies so I don't think it was weather. I thought my wife and knocked the power to my switch off in the garage but that wasn't the case. It came back up late Friday night and has been fine ever since. I am in N. California btw.

Well, I reported my problem on this thread on 5-28-2005, 03:23 AM and the image on satellite 1 still gone... started by just loosing the image temporally then the intervals got longer and now it has bee completely black for a week...

You definitley have an issue on your end...Since you said satellite 1 do you have a DTivo? If so switch inputs and see if the problem moves.
