Directv D14 live, directv D10 down (update: D10 now working)

NBC Universo HD 410 & TWC Deportes are still down at the moment. I'm unable to get the standard definition version of those channels as I have a slimline 3. Do you think DIRECTV if there unable to get the HD version of those channels back will move the SD versions of those channels off 119 satellite to make it that us with a Slimline 3 are able to receive the channels?

Not sure ETS, DIRECTV is being really tight lipped on this one.

I'd put money on a program error inserted during the many changes they need to reconfigure the system for the new satellites. Even the best screw up once in a while.

NBC Universo HD & TWC Deportes HD are both still down. But it's weird on TWC Deportes HD you can use the Restart feature and you can actually watch the program that should be on from the beginning and it works while the channel currently has a error message up. Weird

Looks like the AMC deal is done. Sundance in HD aughta be really cool. Nasa is moving too. I wonder if that's going HD when they move it.

If D10 is indeed back and the issue has been resolved directv will probably be cautious with it, possibly just load it up with PPV HD cinema channels incase it fails again it's less impactful.... Of course I am just spit balling...

Yes everything that was moved off of d10 to d14 appears to be still at d14 according to reports at the other site. I would assume that d10 is up and just running empty at the moment while they test it out to see what works and what doesnt work. This is speculation though. I would figure if the do move anything back it will be well planned and be during the overnight hours. What ever did happen was unexpected and the entire engineering and technical team needs a bigger bonus! 99 percent of the channels restored within 12 hours and minimal impact speaks volumes about the talent directv has!
