Kids are not the issue, they always find a way to figure it out. We need an old peoples remote.

My kids have no problem with the normal remote. They don't ride the short bus though.

My 5 year old son can teach a course on how to use the "adult" remote. The kids remote is probably better suited to senior citizens.
BTW, the link stopped working.

I'm 73 and manage to use the remote all by myself. We're old, not stupid!

It's backwards. The new remote should be for anyone over 50. The kids have no problems working remotes. The older folks are the ones who create all the service calls because they don't understand the concept of "input"...

No kidding. No one said older people were "stupid"..The fact is as this equipment got more feature laden, the remotes became complicated. And the number one demographic group that picks up the phone to call the satellite company because "my tv won't work" is senior citizens.
