I know you can only watch things on the DVR. But can you watch something currently recording?

Say you start recording and then 10 minutes later can you bring it up on D*2PC while it is still recording?

*just thinking ahead to Sunday football + sunday ticket

Yes, you can watch "near-live". You can start watching almost immediately after starting the recording.

Awesome. Gives me another option instead of setting up a 2nd TV.

yup... my son has DirecTV2PC on his computer in his room, hooked up to a 32" Sammy LCd. Picture and sound is really good. Surprisingly good, in fact over what I expected it to be.

Note that if you are streaming over MRV from your DVR to a computer running directv2pc, that same DVR can not also stream to one of your other receivers. They'll get a little red circle with a white dash in it when you bring up the shared playlist.
