HERE TO HELP YOU!
Ok installers, what type of cable comes into your house into the direcway box, RG6? and will the direcway when used with d* receiver get 101, 110 and 119? And what sat. is the direcway using? Thanks... (live in the country, no dsl ava for a longwhile, no cable int. for awhile )

When we install DirecWay, we always use quad-shield RG-6 coax. Better protection from interference. I recommend using a seperate tri-mode dish for your DirecTV receivers to pick up from 101, 110 and 119. Accuracy is essential in aiming the DirecWay dish. I haven't seen a "sidecar" that is tri-modal.

Most DirecWay systems are on SATMEX-5 or GE-11.
