Diseqc 1.0 and 1.2 in series

Can a 1.0 switch be placed in series with a 1.2 goto x switch? I would presume so since I remember reading that a 1.0 switch can be used with a motor.

I presume the 1.2/motor would come first, then the 1.0 switch?

yes that will work. The 1.2 switch (uncommitted/committed switch) you use like a motor so you could put a 4x1 after it

receiver---------8x1 switch (diseqc 1.2 switch)----off a port from that the diseqc 1.0 switch

Cool. Now I've got a use for the old 1.0 and don't need to spend more $$$ on another 22khz.
