diseqc 1.1

Could someone please tell me what Diseqc 1.1 is used for on my receiver? I have a 4-port switch and h-h motor for Ku(port 3) and use diseqc 1.2(port 1&2) to move the big 10 footer for C and more Ku. Thanks.

Diseqc 1.1 allows you to use a larger Diseqc switch. The common one is a 8x1 but I've seen up to 16 inputs (mianly used in Europe)

It also allows you to add a 4x1 on one of the legs for up to 32 LNB's
