Was that on chat or on the phone? Last time I used chat it was about 35 minutes in the queue. Haven't tried calling in a long time. But even on chat, I did notice it was quite a bit longer where the chat normally would have been right away, or worst case, a couple of minutes wait.
I renewed preferred customer contract in less than 10 minutes, a week ago.
Dish wouldn't be the first company to see a fair number of absent employees as COVID-19 infections increase.

FWIW, I'm currently doing a chat with Spectrum to adjust services for my elderly aunt and it's a 30 minute wait so far.
I try not to call Charter or DISH on Mondays. Usually Wednesday is better.

I just got off the phone with Dish. The wait for the Retention department was 14 minutes but once I got through they renewed my offer in about 10 minutes.
Everybody seems to be like that nowadays...I had to call my insurance company the other day...35 minute wait.
