Here's 3 pics of my first free decent dish. It's a solid 1 meter, and was sitting in the parking lot of my favorite hardware store. Fell off the house next door ( was dangling by cable).
Can anyone identify, I suspect it's a classic of some sort, and will replace my 90cm Fortec, I think.
:)

You thought you had me busted ! :)
Not attached to the house, but sitting in the parking lot. House is a rental, currently vacant. House is owned by Hardware store owner, who approved getting the ugly thing out of his sight. Turn off the flashers and siren.

It's solid enough. On the dish bracket it explains that the bolt is the elevation point, and that the increments are each 5 degrees. It should definitely be an improvement to my 90cm Fortec dish. I have a 2 year old SG-2100 that I'll put into service again, and see if it'll move it. Already have it re-painted with camouflage paint .

I've got a BUD with a round backing plate like that, but never saw one on a little Ku dish.
I'd say it was commercial, based on the feedhorn and the single polarity LNB (as best I can tell).
You did well !

edit:
Couple of years back, JsatTV and some of us had a discussion about the 1 or 1.2 meter Fortec on his motor.
It didn't have a proper pivot bolt, and needed a fine adjuster for elevation.
If you have any trouble, I'll dig out the links (with plenty of pictures) and you can do some mods to the dish.

I may be able to move my 1.2M adjuster over to this dish. Haven't measured it up yet, but at worst , I'd need a couple more holes. Thanks for the idea, Green one.

Update:
The 1 Meter dish has replaced my 90cm dish, with decent results. Haven't yet had a chance to modify my "dish elevation fine tuning bracket", but my rough setup today is giving better numbers across the arc. RTV is even decent with a Q of 45 on my Merc II.
Bought a new , 50mm tube for my SG21000 from Sadoun, and it's definitely the way to go. [edit] Anotherl plus, a blindscan of 123W no longer picks up the tp's on 125W. [/edit]
:)
