Dish Network Card Question

What does it mean when you check the system info page and the S-card number is all zeroes like (S 00 0000 0000 00) and it does not have the rom/rev line below the S-#?

It means that you card and receiver no longer work

Where did you buy the card and receiver from.

It can be caused by a bad card or a bad card reader in the receiver. Give DISH a call at (800) 333-3474.

I had this problem on my 6000 before. To fix it I took a pencil eraser to the metal contacts on the card and slid it back in the 6000. Never had the problem again.
