Dish Network Iphone App- How To

Hi there-
I downloaded the DNA and was wondering...care you able to actually view tv shows & dvr recordings- or is this just a remote control (that is quite funny messing w/ ppl while they are trying to watch shows). Anyways- I thought you could, but under my dvr recordings- it only allows me to play back on my tv, same as browsing for shows- I can only set up my dvr. to record or change the channel to them.

Yes, you can view live TV/recordings on your phone. You do need to have a 722/722k with sling adapter, or a 922 in order to do so. Without having one of these, you can only manage your DVR

Yes, the VIP 922, and VIP 722 are receiver models
