While I can't say much... DISH is installing cell sites... and are actively seeking locations for more sites.. including asking retailers...

That is enough insider money at risk to make one think things are looking good for Dish.
Yeah, Jim DeFranco started gobbling up DISH stock beginning Feb. of last year. He's bought 295,000 shares in 39 transactions. All were 5 and 10k purchases until Dec. 24th. Since then he's made 25, 25, 20, and 5k share purchases.
As you probably know Jim has been Charlie and Cantey's original partner since back in the 80's so if he's buying he must know something good is coming.

If he's buying he must be pretty darn sure it's going to go up. He's almost as cheap as Charlie.
I don't see the mega rich getting that way in hopes. Only time that works is with the Lotto.

I hope that's true because he has put all his money ,so to speak,on the line and if he misses the deadline he's toast.
He has kept a secret perhaps and don't want the competition to find out. How many of these and at what distance from each other would these downlinks/uplinks have to be in order for it to be at FCC requirement? It was mentioned that it was going to be IOT related so is he basically going to offer internet connectivity to small devices that does not require much bandwidth for each device?

This is last year's news but sums up where things are going.
The satellites are the golden goose paying the bills and apparently there is enough cash to pay for the spectrum buildout.
