I know you need to be connected to the internet to see what tv shows are available, but do you need it to watch?

Yes internet would be need to watch most on demand content on the receiver because it is downloaded to the receiver from our servers. There is some Video on Demand movies that are loaded into the receiver that will not require a download, but those are a small percentage of On Demand content.
Thanks jason, Would you know how many Mb. (standard def) a typical 1 hour show will use?
