Hi guys, this is my fist post and I think this forum is GREAT. I just ordered a Captiveworks 600s and I now need a dish, I am looking at the Fortec Star 100cm and the 90cm. I am in the Fort Worth area and was just wondering if the 100cm will be worth the extra price?? I am going to get the Invacom Quad LNBF QPH-031 too if that makes a difference??
Thanks, Michael

I would get as BIG a dish as you can afford and get away with, its always the first thing people want to upgrade!

Thanks for the feedback guys, looks like im going with the Fortec 100cm:D, that will almost tap me out for the month. Next month I will get a rotor for it.....

Just watch the shipping on any dish larger than 90cm. It usually goes up drastically, which is why I'm always looking for unwanted, neglected dishes locally :)

You are right on the shipping, one 100cm costs 99.00 and with shipping it comes out to 188.39 for me... If you purchase 2 they are 165.00 with the discount of buying 2 and the shipping is 90.05 with a total price of 255.05 for two. This comes out to 127.75 each.. Find a friend that will go in with you to get 2 and save alot of money on the dishes and shipping. I got lucky and talked a buddy of mine into getting one :D

The Fortec 90cm is 9.3 KG or 20.5 LB'S and the 100cm is 13KG or 28.66 LB'S
