I liked the original and suffered thru and grew to like the 80's and 90's casts... I rarely even turn it there now... ( I watched it Sunday night also )

I was to young to watch the original SNL, my mother wouldn't let me watch it.
I would sneak the TV on in my room and turn the volume way down, so I wouldn't get caught(I did the same thing with the TV show Soap).
When I got older I was aloud to watch the Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscapo years, they were good.
After that they sucked until Mike Myers, Farley and Sandler.
Since they left I haven't felt the need to watch SNL anymore. I miss the days of hiding in my room and trying to keep my laughter down from Dan Akroyd saying "Jane, you ignorant slut".
