Does anyone use VOOM w/ Bose Lifestyle 35 system ?

I'm a current unsatisfied Dish Network customer with 6000 connected to a Bose Lifestyle 35 & Mitsubishi 65" WS-65819 however I'm wodering if my oem Bose rc28t1-27 remote will be able to control the Motorola VOOM receiver ?

I debating on switching since VOOM now has their $0 down offer ?

You might be able to program your receiver's remote to work with VOOM STB. If VOOM/Motorola is not listed, try codes for GI, Jerrold or Primestar satellite STBs.

Just make sure to program your remote for volume punch-through, so that volume Up/Down commands are sent to your receiver, not to the Voom STB. This is very important. If you send the volume IR commands to the VOOM STB it will lock up and you will have to reboot the STB. It's a bug in current firmware.

I used the default motorola setting for my BOSE remote, but could only get it to turn the VOOM box off and on, nothing else.
