I signed the 18 month agreement but was wondering if Dish has a 30 day money back GUARANTEE?

I believe that answer is no. They used to but I think they took that away. But I do believe you still have 3 day to cancel a contract.

NOPE, it ended a few months ago.

Too many people abused the money back guarantee and wasted everyones time. The true intention was to give customers a way out if they absolutly did not like the service, but too many people used it when they needed the service for a short time or left when the cable company offered a winback offer!

I think 3 days is the MBG these days. At least according to my contract. Always read your contract!

Ted

Some states have contract related laws that set the minimum time you can change your mind on a written contract, regardless of what the contract states. You should check with your State Attorney General's office to see if such a law exists in your state.

speaking of contracts, I upgraded to HD a couple of weeks ago but they did not ask me to sign a new contract. My current contract expires Oct 5. Is that normal?

I was told I had 30 days to cancel when I had my install last month. But I am in the Socialist Democratic Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, so it may just be a state thing. Now I must get back to work to support those on public dole!
