That sucks. Ive been lucky, had all my DVR's and EHD's on UPS's (what are we in the military hahaha) for years and been lucky enough to have a failure. Had some DOA, but never a failure after I started using it.
Yeah, thx. The worst part is we're in the middle of switching to a private company that does our directv for the community, which means another layer between this setup. Hopefully we'll get a new box in a few days. On the plus side the performance on this box was pretty bad for a long time, now I know the drive was failing, which is why we were having that issue. Took over 2 minutes to tab through the guide once. Now thats slow.
