I know they are a paying advertiser around here, but their "Deal" is hardly a deal. They promise a $75 mail in rebate, but do everything they can to only send you $25. My dad just signed up for Dish Network through them and the sales person said he qualified for a $75 rebate, but when the check arrived, it was only $25. When he called to find out why, they gave him a line of bull.

They should stick to their claims.

And the line of bull was....?

The rebates are based upon what programming a person signs up for and is all spelled out on the rebate form.

We have THOUSANDS of people who have gotten their DISH Network service from DISHSTORE.NET and no one has ever had an issue.

I would call today after 1pm and ask for Claude. :)

even though i may not like some of claudes views when it comes to tech compensation, i do respect the way he runs his store and business towards his customer. i have bought from him with no issue myself.

I ordered an extra remote for my 922 from Claude when no one else had them in stock. He sold it to me for $20 and even included the shipping. When I get ready to order any thing else I need for Dish Network, I know I will go to the Dish Store.

Well, it's been almost 10-hours so what happened when you called Claude? Although I could no longer stand the Dish HD products and their lack of business ethics, DishStore.net is top-rate...moreso since they now resell DirecTV.

I've never had a problem Dishstore.net. I've bought 4 receivers from them and when Dish Network tried to say the receivers were leased, they gave me all the info I needed to tell Dish they were wrong.

I recently set up service through DishStore.net, and ran into a problem where I ended up getting a 622 instead of 722. Claude worked pretty hard for me to get me what I wanted (Dish apparently has the discretion to give me either one of their choosing), and he ultimately was able to do it. I know he had to jump through a lot of hoops for that, I almost feel bad for even sending for my rebate after that (but a deal's a deal). But just a week later I got my rebate check for the full amount. I can't complain about DishStore at all...

Here is my responce, which is the same "line of bull" or responce, that my manager gave to this customer when they called on the phone....

First of all, Please download a current copy of our rebate form which can be found here...
http://www.satelliteguys.us/metro25/dishstoresite/rebateform.pdf

There is 4 rebate options on this form...

#1 $25 CASH BACK. Customer Subscribes to DISH Family, signed up with a Club DISH Card, or did not sign a 24 Month commitment with DISH Network.

#2 Customer Subscribes to a minimum basic programming package of Americas Top
120 or above, signed a 24 Month commitment with DISH Network and signed up for Credit Card Auto-pay on the day the initial order was placed.

#3 $75 CASH BACK. Customer Subscribes to Minimum basic programming of Americas Top 120 with a Digital Video Recorder, signed a 24 Month commitment with DISH Network and signed up for Credit Card Auto-pay on the day the initial order was placed.

#4 $25 HD Platinum Pack Bonus. Customer Subscribes to the HD Platinum package

The way it works is your rebate is either $25, $50 or $75. If you get the HD Bonus package you then get an additional $25 back for up to $100 in savings.

THE WHOLE ISSUE HERE IS THAT THIS PERSON USED A CLUB DISH CARD WHEN THEY SIGNED UP

It says right on the rebate form that the rebate is $25 if you use a Club DISH Card when you sign up.

In addition it also states this on this page on our website...
DISH Network Satellite TV - Frequently Asked Questions FAQs

Q: I got one of those Club Dish cards, can I use it when signing up with you?

A: We can still accept your Club Dish, but you will only qualify for the $25 Rebate. With the current promotion Dishstore has in place with the potential $100 Rebate, your actually better off not signing up with the Club Dish card and taking advantage of the higher rebate amount.

As far as im concerned this is clear as day, it says it on the website, it says it on the rebate form, and they decided to use a Club Dish card anyways.

Now im not saying I have an issue taking Club Dish cards, but the issue that I run into is that Im already paying out up to $100 CASH to customers who sign up through us. I have to pay the sales people another $50 for their commission to close your sale, plus I have advertising and other expenses to run the office.

When a Club Dish card is used to sign up, I get a $50 reduction in commissions from DISH Network. There is simply not enough money left over when I get paid on your account from DISH Network to pay my sales people, pay you a $75 or $100 rebate, and have to eat $50 on a Club Dish referal.

For the person who started this thread, keep in mind that they already got a $50 credit on their first months bill immediatly when they signed up. This person was not penalized for using the Club Dish card because the net result at the end was the same, and they where still $25 ahead by going through us instead of calling and using the Club Dish card directly through DISH Network

We do value everyones business, and most people know we will bend over backwards to provide good customer service.

Anyone who has gotten a rebate check from us, what was the turn around time to get your check back from us? Right now we are running less than 14 days from the time you mail us the request, till the time you receive the check back in the mail.

These are my rules on our rebate redemption, and unfortunatly if I didn't have this policy in place, every sale would end up being a Club Dish referal, as everyone here is fully aware that there are Club Dish card numbers posted all over the internet

The system has become so convoluted that not even the gamers can understand it anymore. If you were born on a tuesday leave the bath water out for 15 minutes then .... sign over your third born in exchange for ...... after that you will receive 4 (one time, yeah an oxymoron) credits of -$0.74 and be billed one charge of $2.95 a total of 5 times. Ridiculous!

That is why the providers and the retailers need to go back to the good old days of owned when everyone paid to play, not all these ransom payments. And we wonder why everybodies bill has gone sky high! They make up for the new on the backs of the old.

yeah claudes store is fantastic, never anything for me to complain about with them, and I am a tough customer..........

This post wins biggest understatement of the year! :D

I've actually purchased multiple things from DishStore and had a great experience every time. Fast shipping, products were exactly as described. I'd recommend them to anyone (and I have). Sorry that the OP had a bad experience, but if he used a clubdish card doesn't that get him back to the same $75 off (as he would have gotten $50 from the clubdish card and $25 rebate from dishstore)? Seems like any other place where you can't cash in multiple offers on the same product. I mean does he want Claude to pay him to watch TV???
