DPP44 Grounding

The Install guide booklet that came with my DPP44 makes no mention of it being a ground block. The PDF on the DISH site says the switch is UL approved to take the place of a ground block.

The booklet that came with my switch and the online PDF have the same number: 128339

My switch doesn't have UL markings on it. I've have it for over 3 yrs.

Can it be used for grounding?

the older dpp44's were not approved as ground blocks, the newer gray one's are approved as a ground block.

Thanks for the info. My DPP44 is silver colored.

It will have a UL mark on it if it's usable as a ground block. Looks like yours is not.
