DVR Question

I have a 722 Dish Receiver and with 2 tuners, I can watch 1 program live and record another or watch a recorded program and record 2 more. My question is with a single tuner Direct DVR will I be able to watch a live program and record another different program at the same time??? ( I'm considering switching after my 2yr commitment w/ Dish is up)

The Directv HDDVR's are dual tuner, and you can record two and watch a recorded program, or record one and watch one live.

All direcTV DVR's are dual tuner so you will not loose anything.
