External Hard Drive Database Seagate / Maxtor 750 gig

I few days ago I stated in thread that I would try to put together a spreadsheet on External Hard Drive Bugs... I am thinking of approaching it differently by making a poll or polls as to the durability of the different brands of EHDD's... then we will have the data to start a spreadsheet rather than searching the threads.
I know there are many models of these drives, If I missed one let one of the Staff know and we can add it. If you have problems with one of these drives please note the problem and model in a post...

I have a Seagate Freeagent Pro 750 (not sure which one from above) The drive itself works fine but it does have the sleep mode problem as discussed here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/1111252-post504.html I think this is a software issue w/622's & 722's not anything wrong with the drive, do you want my drive added to the pole in this situation?

I have 2 750GB Calvary drives (WD hardware) and haven't a problem with either. They've been working great!

I have a Maxtor 750GB One Touch 4 (Seagate STM307504OTA3E1-RK).

Anyone know how to disable sleep mode on it? Having to unplug and replug it every day is getting annoying.

Never mind. I found the software here:

Installed it on my pc, plugged in the drive, and turned sleep mode off.

My Seagate ST307504FPA1E2-RK FreeAgent Pro 750 GB USB/eSATA External Hard Drive works fine with the exception of the sleep mode issue.

Note that in the poll the Seagate ST307504FPA1E3-RK FreeAgent Pro 750 listed twice.
