can i get subscription for fast internet two way using my old 10 foot C-band satellite TV system?

Never heard of anything like that, all I've seen is smaller Ku (Ka?) band dishes used, like Hughesnet, DirecWay, WildBlue, etc.

There was a company, don't know if it was 2-way, but they are long out of business.

Any reason trying to use the BUD for internet?

He might be thinking that it would be available for a cheaper price or would offer better signal with the larger dish to help combat rainfade.

Ahh, the DirecWay dial return days...mine worked great. I replaced the 74cm receive dish with a 1 meter Channel Master and the modem loved it. Now all we have is cable, DSL, and 2 or 3 wireless carriers if one can find a signal. We will never see FIOS, although in 1995 I was told we would never see local Internet service...:D
