Favorite Jerky Recipes

Decided to try my hand at making jerky as the entire family really loves to snack on jerky. Was wondering others experiences and if you had any recipes that are a must try.

Today I have the smoker going to make some jalapeño jerky. If all goes well I will share the recipe that was used for this batch.

I haven't tried in years, I got a dehydrator last Christmas... it's an idea.

I use the Hi-Mountain and Hi-Country brand mixes with my venison. I'm not sure which one ripped off the other's brand name, but they are both pretty good products. I do mine in my dehydrator, but add liquid smoke to the mix.
