If you know where there is one. 2/3 FEC is better correction than 3/4 ( 33% of the bits are error correction , rather than 25% ) . A 2/3 FEC signal should be easier to acquire , given the same signal strength.

yep no problems

the lower the number (2/3 is lower than 3/4) the easier it is to pick up (and need less signal)

Also if its QPSK or 8PSK can make a difference. Seems like DVB-S2 QPSK is easier to get
