This is way we have choices. About 3 years ago I got sick and tired of waiting for DTV to do my local HD's and switched to Comcast cable that had them. Except for the extra money for Comcast, I didn't mind their service until they "blew it" for me with their failure to get TBS in HD for the baseball playoffs 2 years in a row. Instead, they went with crap like Lifetime and a few others that I NEVER watch. After the last time, I packed my kit bag and marched back to DTV.
While I'm committed to DTV, if Fios ever comes down my street, I'll have to think hard about switching.
