Firefox Cookie Problem

All ofa sudden my firefox install keeps changing cookie settings to Keep until they expire instead of Ask me every time. any ideas as to why?

No patetrn BTW sometimes it happens at launch sometimes in the middle of a session.

Which version of Firefox are you using? And what if any add ons do you have installed?

3.0 I am using the apollo theme and I have AdBlock Plus, AVG Safe Search, Imge Zoom, IE Tab, and Foreact Fox installed.

Was it working fine then maybe after you added one of the add-ons it craped out or what?

no all the addons predate the upgrade to 3.0 but some have been updated.

i was actually using the release candidates for 3.0 and never observed the behavior then.

I would try :

1. Write down all add-ons and themes.

2. Uninstall them all (get back to default).

3. Clean history, temp files, cache, cookies, etc. (use something like CCleaner).

4. Test Firefox's operation at that point.

5. Add your add-ons back in one by one testing Firefox between each.

the problem seems to have gone away. Many of my extensions were updated in the last week or so. If there wasa problem the update might have corrected it.
