Under tools Options Main startup What have you selected to happen when Firefox starts?

Turn off TABS or change to only use new windows: TOOLS > OPTIONS > TABS

I'm loving this new Firefox. Many websites I visit are loading noticeably faster then with FF2. Especially gmail.

I just downloaded FF3 and i like what i see so far and it does load a bit faster then the older version

Ok, so is this Firefox Beta 3? Or whats the diff?
Reason I ask is I've been testing The Firefox Beta 3 for months now.
It's had some quirks, but has been great otherwise.
What I don't know is if the Firefox 3 just released is the same as the one I've been testing..

Depends on what the last nightly build ver or RC you had. If you were testing close to the last RC then you likely will not notice much past stability and final touch ups if anything.

t is not like Beta 3 but if you are using windows Beta 5, RC 2 and Rc3 are all the same as the final release.

Sigh. Does not work on my MacBook Pro G4 with Mac OS 10.3.9. (Panther). Refused to spend $$ for Tiger!! Had to reload FF2. C'mon, get with it, Mozilla. Not everyone has the latest Macs.
