First Hopper and Joey Photos posted by engadget

The Joey boxes support HDMI-CEC. Which means you can use your HDTV remote in the other room to control it! Maybe the Hopper will to?

You know, the more I think about this, it really doesn't matter, since there is no "TV2" to worry about. The remote for "TV1" (where the Hopper is) is the only one that needs to send to the Hopper.

Plus, no rain or snow fade on OTA. I guess I missed that Dish didn't announce the OTA-on-a-USB-stick. I would still want OTA available on this, even with the PrimeTime Anytime.

You don't get rain fade with OTA? Everyone in my area has to deal with rain fade in heavy downpours.

I have not. Ota was invaluable for us during a tornado outbreak this past spring. Dish was out & ota never even flickered & that was using tuner on 722.
