fixing a ku/cband lnb possible?

hi guys i just noticed that my $49 ku/cband universal lnb is no longer getting signal.
im thinking it broke when i was changing out cable, maybe it shorted somehow?
anyways im in the carribean and its not easy getting any parts for weeks. is there any way to fix something like this?

I always figure that if it's not working now, I can't make it not work any more. Pop it open and see if there's anything obvious you can do.

the lnb is a bsc-621.

ok , so i opened it and i dont see anything bad. but another question.
i have an old chaparral lnb, the cband lnb is a norsat 8000 cband series. the ku says norsat 7000a.
i dont care about ku, i just want cband . there is also a small box that has 3 wires coming out of it(white,black,green)
could this lnb work? i have a fortec mercury 2 receiver and im trying to watch tv from 50 west and 45w.
