Format Switching

I just got directv installed....love it so far minus 1 thing. Is there a way to setup the box so that when I'm viewing SD the format is 420p and when I'm watching HD the format is 720p without manually changing the format? TW box used to switch this automatically. Thanks in advance

Check your "Native" setting in the HDTV section.
One way the receiver makes the determination and the other the TV does the work.
