As I stated earlier, I got my motor up and running yesterday (Friday) And it is working well..I have come across a problem with the Fortec Dynamic Receiver..When I attempt to tune radio stations, the Receiver freezes up. I have to either go to the channel list or back to the menus before I can use the receiver again. The LED light in fromt of the receiver has lines across it when this is happening. I had never had this issue before..Any suggestions?

Blind:
I wouldnt think so. Before I got the motor on, I had the dish and receiver at 123 west exclusively and never had a problem..

I reset the receiver to factory defaults and am reloading the transponders/channels from 72 to 129 west..as I go I will try the radio after each sat is loaded..will let you know what happens..

It's still happening..If I push the radio/tv button on the remote, the receiver moves to a previous Satellite and freezes. with lines in the LED where the channel/time should be..When I get time this week, I'll try to operate the receiver independent of the motor and see if that changes anything..

I found a workaround to the problem I described in my original post..If I go to the EPG and push the radio/tv button on the remote, The radio stations show up in the guide. Then after leaving the guide I can listen to them..

One other related question..Does anyone know what Satellite Yesterday USA Radio is currently located on? Thanks for all your suggestions..

According to their website:

Location #1

Galaxy 11 (G 11) KU Band
Transponder 18 Vertical
Frequency 12060
Symbol Rate: 26700
Audio PID: 1620 NOTE: take audio from Left Channel output only
Video PID: 1160 ( see note below )

Note: Because this feed is located within scrambles signals, we suggest that you change the Video PID to 1160. Otherwise, the sound may switch on and off from time to time.

Location #2

AMC 3 KU Band
Transponder 22 Vertical
Frequency: 12073
Symbol Rate: 3.0000
Audio PID: 1213 NOTE: take audio from Left Channel output only
Video PID: 0

yep. Its on G11/17 but the transponder changed to 12050. Its in the scrambled mux with the 4 color bar channels.

You should be able to do a PID entry. What I did was entered
video-1160..this is the video from one of the color bar channels
audio-1620
pcr-8190

that seems to make it work...for the TP update check thelist its the TP that is 12050 V symbol rate escapes me
