Fox sports in HD

It seems Fox NFL and The Cotton Bowl are not broadcasted in HD? Has anyone else experience this?

It's HD but Fox's picture has always sucked at least for sports it has

Just hope this doesn't turn into a 720p vs. 1080i debate. And yes, FOX would never broadcast an NFL game or the Cotton Bowl in standard definition. Depending on your market, the local FOX affiliate could be having problems with its equipment. The really small markets still have a problem with broadcasting HD.

it was in HD last night.....on both Fox affiliates i can get

of course one is broadcast in 720p and the other is 480i widescreen (its a subchannel) so gee guess what one I watched?
(actually neither as I watched the college hockey game)

I finally got to the bottom of this. It's the Fox affiliate in Wilkes Barre that has the problem

Someone shot the cable at the broadcast tower. There are a bunch of idiots on WOLF's Facebook page blaming the station for not fixing the cable fast enough.

Signal should be back on the air Jan. 12. Hopefully DirecTV and DISH will pick it up then as well.
