Free HD for existing customers ?

Im sure this has been posted before, but I cant find it. I just saw the Dish commercial and they are still offering HD free. Is Directv doing anything about it ? Thanks -

Well if you sign up for it when you activate, you can get it. I hear talk that some existing customers are getting it, but I have had customers that were just installed only a few days before and they would not give it to them.

Call them & ask - many posts on here from existing subs (including myself) that got it FREE for 2 years.
But, you MUST sign up for autopay to get it - you CAN keep on getting paper statements, though.

When they ran the lifetime deal for new subs, I called in and said I saw the deal and heard there was an offer for current subs, that if they had auto pay, they'd give you $10 off for 24 months. The CSR checked, and said yepp, and in 5 minutes I got free HD for 24 months.
