Can I use an Android app that does the same thing as a TV when pointing your dish??shows the signal and sat id and all that..
Can't think of a setup like that right now. I can use my slingbox and slingplayer app to view the satellite receiver but the latency sucks. Nothing is going to ID the sat unless it's a high dollar meter.

I take my TV outside for signal searching, or look through the window at the big TV in my living room.

Trust Me, Ive tried. They're all garbage. There good for elevation, but not for azimuth.
All depends on the phone and the calibration of the phone. I have had good luck, but always making sure to calibrate each time. :)

Have heard that the cheap dollar store smart phones, you are correct they never work. If it is a decent phone and you are having issues make sure to calibrate it each time.

I'm using a iPhone SE, so it's not the phone. Anyway, I'd recommend using a receiver and tv

I'd highly recommend a 36" (90cm) dish. I have 4 LNBF's on mine for 103/99/95/91W. It gets me NBC in 4 time zones, their news feeds (NC1-NC12), RT, NHK, JBS, Infowars (not really news), CCTV/CGTN, and ABC NewsOne 1-4.

Ill have to re-tune then. I have a 120cm dish on 103 that also have pointed at 99. I can get everyone on 99 except for InfoWars Frustrating.

I tried 87w, but I've had no luck getting a lock on it with my 76cm. On the other hand, after 4 hours of fine tuning I was able to get a lock on 103w. I get 60%Q on NBC and 70%Q on NHK. I can't pick up NBC West HD. I can pick up all the other NBC's. Why can't I pick up NBC West HD?

Is 60% on NBC good for a 76cm? And, a completely off subject question. Is anyone not getting Taiwan Macroview on galaxy 3C?

I get 87W good on a fixed 76 cm with a Avenger pll lnbf on it here in Ct. As Fta4pa said though, there's no margin for error. It's a touchy sat to get, you have to be spot on.

95W is strong and easy to lock on a 76 cm dish. CCTV news is on there in English if you don't mind foreign news channels. For a few years I had a small direct TV dish setup for 95W Ku and it worked fine but I get it on one of my c band dishes now, so I took it down to make room for other better dishes.

I have another 76 cm fixed dish set on 103W too for NHK and that comes in good all the time, but the NBC feeds there don't always come in, the dish is a bit small for those.

How's your Q for NBC on 103w? Mines 60%

keep in mind that those NBC feeds are not always on. it's perfectly normal that at times, one or several of them show a blank screen.

On 95W, Macroview still scans in but I get a blank screen...
Me too. Also, NBC West Came back on. Just Color Bars
